I choose this type of shot because it can see what is happening and you can see more things like houses and more things.Also it shows how fast they van goes

Your comment on perspective (how big or small things look) shows good thinking, it could also be used to make things look more or less important than they are. Imagine zooming out and realising that the approaching van was actually really small!
